BIBLICAL REFERENCE
Proverbs 30.5 and Luke 5.1-11

PURPOSE OF THE LESSON
Teach the children that when we believe in the word of God, He blesses us

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him". (Proverbs 30.5)

INTRODUCTION
Take to the class pictures of dishes with dishes (you’ll find it easier to find on Internet sites or cookbooks). Start by asking: "friends, who has already seen mom preparing a delicious fish? (Wait for their participation). Mom cleans the fish, removes the fishbone, put some seasoning and prepares it with a lot of love, isn’t it? (Show picture). Yummy! But someone needs to catch it, isn’t it? Today we’ll listen to the story of a fisherman who was very blessed. Stay tuned I'll start.

PETER AND THE FISHES
One day Jesus was near the beach and saw two boats coming close to the seashore. Let’s imitate a boat? (Educator clasps your hands, stretch your arms, and then swing from one side to the other and ask the children to copy). That boat belonged to a fisherman named Peter. He was tired and sleepy (Yawn and then make an expression of fatigue), Do you know why? Because he had worked the whole night and caught no fish. He threw the net many times but didn’t catch any fish (show the picture of the fisherman's net) Oh, poor thing! But Jesus said to him: Peter return to the lake and throw the net again.
Friends, Jesus told him to pull the net! And Peter did so. When puling it (Educator, make gestures as you were pulling a fishing net), ufa! The net was very heavy, it was full of fish and Peter needed his friends to help. The two boats were left full of fish. After that Peter became a disciple of Jesus.

CONCLUSION
Yeah! The miracle happened. Do you know why? Because Peter obeyed Jesus and trusted on what He had said. God makes no mistakes and never fails, and will always bless us as He did with Peter amen?

ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY
Imitating. Educator, ask the children to stand in a circle. Start right now by saying the following: Children, today we learned that the fisherman Peter obeyed Jesus and catch many fishes. Peter’s boat was sailing through the lake. How does it sail? (Clasp hands, stretch your arms, and then swing from one side to the other and ask for children to copy). Repeat the gesture several times. Note their involvement, and say the name of three children and ask for them to do the gestures. Then say: "And the plane, have you ever seen a plane flying in the sky? Let’s copy it? (Open your arms and swing) And a car? (Make gestures as if you were driving. Walk through the class and make a noise of car).
The train makes a sound like this: beep beep, chuk chuk chuk chuk, repeat after me beep beep, chuk chuk chuk chuk. But to copy the train we must walk one behind the other. A child after the other by placing their hands on the shoulder of friend and repeat after me, beep, beep. Educator, for every gesture ask for them to copy. Congratulate for their participation. Play with them until they lose interest.

MONDAY
Cut by hand. Peter was a fisherman; cut the fishes with scissors and paste them in the net.

Using the colors. Educator, take to  the classroom a blue pot of ink. Place the children sitting in a circle and distribute sheets of paper. Ask each child to paint the sea with their index finger, making wavy motions in the bottom of the sheet, from one side to the other half of the sheet. Let it dry and place it in the class mural.

PURPOSE OF THE LESSON
Teach the kids that the word of God bless those who believe in it.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him". (Proverbs 30.5)

INTRODUCTION
Start by asking: Has anybody tried to do something alone and failed, but with the help of parents or someone resolved the matter quickly? (Wait for their participation). Today we are going to learn about a man who, alone, failed to resolve what he wanted, but with the help of someone special, a miracle happened. Let’s find out whom I'm talking about? Pay attention that the story will start.

WONDERFUL FISHING
JESUS WAS near a lake to teach about God's will when he saw some fishermen washing their nets. The two boats were empty, with no fish; they were going home, tired and empty-handed. Jesus then took a boat from the fishermen, called Peter, and continued teaching in the boat to the people.
After this, Jesus called Peter and told him to take the boat far away, to the deepest part of the lake, and to throw the net again. Do you know what Peter said to Jesus? (Wait for their participation.) He said he had worked all night, but had not caught anything, but he would obey the command of Jesus.
Buddies, Peter obeyed the orders of Jesus. So what happened? (Wait for their participation.) They threw the net, and when pull they them back they could almost not hold it because it was so heavy. Peter had to call his friends who were fishermen, to help him. His boat was almost turning! The fishermen returned to the beach with two full boats. All were surprised with the amount of fish they had caught. What a wonderful fishing!
Children, this was possible because Peter followed Jesus' command. The word of God says that "All the Word of God and pure: He is a shield to those who trust in Him! (Proverbs 30.5).
He trusted Jesus and received the miracle, and most importantly, he followed Him. Peter recognized that Jesus was the Son of God and said: "Lord, leave me, for I am a sinner! And Jesus answered and said, "Do not be afraid Peter, now you'll be a fisher of men" With those words, Jesus was calling Peter to be His disciple. And Peter accepted the invitation with joy and together with James, another fisherman, left the boat, fish and followed Jesus.

CONCLUSION
When we obey the teachings of God, He is a shield to us and evil does not touch us and He blesses us. Never forget that the Word of God does not fail, it is true, and everything that is written in the Bible, God fulfills in the lives of those who trust in Him.

FUN CHAT
Educator, get pictures or photos of babies learning to walk, children accompanied by an adult, learning to ride a bicycle, people jumping from parachute (you can find these pictures on the internet). Assemble a poster and write the title "Trusting ..." Educator, also take the Bible to the class.
Start now showing the poster and saying: Kids, look at this poster. "What are they doing? (Wait for their participation). Children read after me: "Trusting..." Children in these pictures people are under the guidance of someone to do something, for example: The little baby is taking the first steps because he trusts who’s helping him, isn’t it? The same applies to the kid learning to ride a bicycle. With people jumping parachute hang-gliding, all are relying on someone’s instructions.
In today's story we learn that Peter received a blessing only because he trusted the word of Jesus. When we trust God's Word (show the Bible) we are blessed, for He confirms our victory. At that time, Peter had no doubt, but only believed and was blessed. Kids, God is our shield and won’t allow us to be ashamed. His Word is pure, there are no lies and no promises that cannot be met, okay? Who here says that will always have faith in the Word of God? Amen! Educator, make a prayer with the class later, with the help of the poster of the week, memorize the verse as follows:

1. Read the verse that is on the poster of the week. 2. Explain the meaning of the verse. 3. Make the boys repeat the first verse, then girls. Then get each row to say every part of the verse and, ultimately, the entire class. Educator, interact with them, praise those who answer correctly and give another chance to those who answer wrong.

ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY
List. Peter trusted Jesus and was blessed. Write a list according to the story.

WEDNESDAY
Memorizing. Paint Peter and memorized the verse.

FRIDAY
Game. Educator, divide the class into groups of five and tell them to make rows. The ones playing must hold in the waist of the child in front of them. Educator,  give the following instructions:

1.
Walk slowly 2. Walk jumping with right foot 3. Walk and wave the left hand 4. Walk with the hands on the waist of friend 5. Walking with your right hand on the head. Educator, observe the teams and then end up the game saying that just as everyone did what they heard attentively to your orders, we must be attentive to the Word of God and obey it.

Today we are going to learn about a man who, alone, failed to resolve what he wanted, but with the help of someone special, there was a miracle. Let’s find out whom I'm talking about? Pay attention!

WONDERFUL FISHING
CHILDREN, SOME time long ago Jesus was teaching the Word of God by the lake, and realized he was standing next to fishing boats. But do you know what caught Jesus attention? (Wait for their participation.) There was no fish in the basket, and the fishermen were washing their nets. Then Jesus entered a boat, which was Peter’s, and he continued teaching from there to the crowd. When he finished talking with those people, He called Peter and said:
- Take the boat to the deepest part of the lake, and throw the nets again.
Peter replied:
- Lord, we’ve work all night and caught nothing, but because the Lord is sending is to cast the net again, I will obey.
Who knows what happened next? (Wait for their participation.) At the time they pulled back the net, Wow! There was so much fish that the net almost couldn’t hold it and it almost broke due to the weight!
Then Peter called to fishermen who were on the other boat to help. The fishing was so wonderful and blessed, it was possible to fill the two boats and they were so heavy that it almost turned. All were amazed by the quantity of fish.
The miracle happened because Peter trusted in what Jesus said. As it is written in Psalms, “Every word of God is credible, God protects those who take refuge in him” (Proverbs 30.5). Peter obeyed the word and, therefore, was blessed. Seeing the miracle, he acknowledged Jesus was the Son of God and said:
- Lord, Depart from me, for I am a sinner! And Jesus replied:
- Do not be scared Peter, from now on you will be a fisher of men. Kids, do you know what Jesus meant by this? (Wait for their participation). Because from that moment on, Peter would be His disciple and win many souls for the Kingdom of God
When Jesus spoke these words, Peter and another fisherman, named James, dragged the boats up to the beach, left everything and followed Jesus.

CONCLUSION
Children, never forget that the Word of God is pure and true. Everything that is written in the Bible He makes it to come to pass in the lives of those who trust in Him.  When we obey the teachings of the Bible, God becomes our shield and bless us, Amen!

TFT meeting 7

7th Meeting

Biblical Reference:
Psalm 25.12 and Luke 19.1-10

Purpose of the meeting:
Teach teenagers that God forgives our sins and shows us the way to follow.

Key verse:
“Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” (Psalm 25.12)

Initiating the meeting

You will need pictures of people using fancy objects (colored wigs, piercings, etc.) and discreet people dressed without attracting attention. Stick it on the wall. Start by asking:’ Let’s say that these people are walking in a crowded street.  In your opinion, which one is likely to attract the attention of the pedestrians? (Wait for their participation). These people (point to the pictures of the fancy people) are attracting attention because they are using something unusual right? On today’s meeting we will talk about a man who drew the attention of Jesus.

Message that edify:

A new path

Surely you must know or have heard of people who usually take advantage of deceiving others. The Word of God says: “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverbs 14.12). The bible tells us about Zacchaeus, a dishonest man who walked a dishonest path.
Zacchaeus was a tax collector and he improperly charged people, because he used to keep a part for himself and he had already become rich taking money from them. Just as Zacchaeus, there are many people who are dishonest because the spirit of lying and dishonesty has taken hold of their heart.
Zacchaeus heard that Jesus would be passing by Jericho and wished to see Him. He was trying to see Jesus but he couldn’t because of the crowd for he was short. For him to see Jesus, he climbed a tree on the way Jesus would be passing. At that moment, Zacchaeus didn’t worry about being a known person or an important person in that city; he climbed that tree and he didn’t want to lose that opportunity. If people who suffer in this world would follow this man’s example, certainly their lives would take another course. Many people lose the opportunity of having their lives transformed by the Lord Jesus because they worry about what others will think or even if they will be accepted by their friends.
When he seen by Jesus, Zacchaeus didn’t imagine that He would see him in that tree. However that attitude pleased Jesus, who called him by his name. God knows each and every one of us and search our minds and hearts (Read Revelations 2.23).
When called, Zacchaeus came down from the tree quickly and received Him is his house with joy. We must analyze how we have received Jesus. With joy.  Or is accepting Him a motive of embarrassment and shame?
That tax collector had an opportunity in a lifetime: to have Jesus in his house. And Jesus was recriminated for being in a thief’s house, in a sinner’s house. However, Zacchaeus took advantage of that moment and decided to change his life: “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount. Jesus said to him: Today salvation has come to this house…” (Luke 19.8-9).
How wonderful! That man was willing to focus and abandon all the wrong things; in fact at that moment the meeting of Zacchaeus wasn’t only with the Son of God but with the Spirit that was in Jesus.

Conclusion:

Teenagers, God loves sinners but wishes them to abandon their sins and become true Sons of God. For this to happen it’s necessary to leave behind all the wrong things and live a new life, just as Zacchaeus did. It’s written: “Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” (Psalm 25.12). If a person decides to leave his life of sin and give his life to Jesus then he/she won’t live disoriented or take hasty decisions; it only will happen if he/she doesn’t want to listen to the voice of God. Zacchaeus didn’t take days, months or years before surrendering to Jesus; he had no doubt about the path he would follow from that day on. What about you? Have you made your decision?

Answered Prayer

The Answered Prayer

There in the Mount Carmel, God showed to everyone that HE is Faithful to ALL who obey HIM.

The prophets of Baal were there also, and cried out to their gods… but nothing happened.

However, Elijah who was a man of God, obedient and faithful to Him, with A SINGLE PRAYER, he showed to all that the God of Israel was faithful and truthful. He made fire come down from Heaven and burned the sacrifice on the Altar that Elijah built for Him.

The man of God proved that it is worth it to believe in a Great God!

With this resource which is very easy to do, we are going to teach the kids that Our God is Alive and is still making fire coming down from Heaven burning all the negativity in their lives!

To do that you will need:

·    Brown paper to make the Mount Carmel and the Altar for the  Sacrifice;

·      The prophets drawn and coloured with crayons;

·      Cotton wool to make a cute sheep

·      Red cellophane paper to do the fire

·      A piece of Styrofoam to make the base for the Altar and the prophets – see picture above.

PURPOSE OF THE LESSON
Teach the children that God answers those who belong to Him.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
" The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears" (Psalm 34.17)

INTRODUCTION

Start by saying: Friends, when we want something we ask for it. For example, when you are hungry, you ask your mom, right? And if you don’t get an answer, you continue insisting, right? Today we are going to listen to the story of a man who insisted and asked God for a blessing. Let’s pay attention and see what happened?

THE ANSWERED PRAYER

Elijah was an obedient man of God and taught the people what pleased God. Who here is of God, raise your hand (wait for their participation). In the city where Elijah lived, it did not rain for many days. Forests and plantations were dry and dying because there was no water to wet them, the horses had no grass to eat and even the drinking water was running (make an expression of concern).

That’s serious...isn’t it? And Elijah went to a mountain, knelt, placed his face on the floor and prayed (clasp hands as if you were praying and ask for them to copy) for God to bring rain. When he stopped praying, he told his friend to observe the sky and see if there was any dark cloud showing. But the sky was blue, it didn’t look like it was going to rain. But Elijah continued praying, and prayed twice (educator, count up to seven using the fingers showing according to the number). Then he asked the friend again: "And now? Now, I see a dark cloud the size of my hand (show palm), said the friend. And suddenly, Kabum, Shua, Shua, Shua, Shua! A very hard wind began to blow and it started raining a lot.

CONCLUSION

See? God answered Elijah's prayer ... But do you know why? Because he was a good and trusted God. If we are like him, our heavenly Father will also bless us ... Amen!

ACTIVITIES

SUNDAY
Activity: Ask the children to cut paper into smaller pieces, make balls and then paste it in the raindrops (get an image of rain/coloring page).

Making sounds. Educator, you will need an illustration
of rain, telephone, clock, a person swinging a door,
crying baby, cat, dog, rooster. Put the pictures in a shoe
box /decorated. Start the game by saying the following:
Children, today we learned that Elijah prayed for rain and
it happened isn’t it? And now we are going to copy the sound of rain. Who here knows what rain sounds like? Make the sound, Shua, Shua, Shua and
ask for them to copy). Then invite a child to get a
picture from inside the box, and make sounds according to the
illustrations chosen, for example: telephone (ring, ring,
riiing) clock (tic-tac) person swinging a door (knock-
knock), baby crying (BUAA), cat (meow meow), dog (au
au), etc. Play until they lose interest.

PURPOSE OF THE LESSON
Teach the kids that God listens and answers their prayers.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
" The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles". (Psalm 34.17)

BIBLICAL REFERENCE
Psalms 34.17-19 and Kings 18.20-40

INTRODUCTION

Start by asking the class: Who here has already called someone and did not get a reply because the person didn’t hear, or because he/she refused to answer? (Wait for their participation). How did you feel? (Wait for their participation). Today we will learn about some prophets who cried out a lot. Let’s find out if they were answered? Then listen carefully.

THE ANSWERED PRAYER

The Bible talks about a prophet named Elijah, who taught the people about the will of God. Elijah feared God and obeyed Him and so many miracles occurred when he used his faith. One day Elijah prayed for rain and so it was again, he blessed a widow who was hungry; he was very used by God.

One day Elijah took a big challenge with the prophets who worshiped false gods. The prophet Elijah told King Ahab to gather all the prophets who served other gods, and commanded the people of Israel to also be present. Kids, many people of Israel, who were people of God, were following the prophets of Baal, and displeased the living God.

Then all gathered on Mount Caramel and Elijah told the people that there could be no doubt, and that they should decide whether they wanted to follow a deceiving god or the true God, and so he made a challenge to the prophets of Baal, saying, "make an altar to your gods and prepare a sacrifice for them, call them. Then I'll do the same thing, but I will cry out to my God. And the God who answers by fire will be the real one. "

How brave was Elijah! He believed that God would answer, and had no fear of having to face eight hundred and fifty prophets. The prophets were screaming at noon and had no response. But Elijah did just a simple prayer by saying: "The Lord God, show that you are the king of Israel, the real one, and you're the prophet. Answer me ...” Children, God heard and answered the prayer of Elijah and the fire fell on the sacrifice, and the people kneeled and shouted "The Lord is God! Only the Lord is God!"

CONCLUSION

Friends,it is written that "when honest people call the Lord, He hears ..." (Psalm 34.17). Elijah was answered because he was sincere and honest with God. If we are obedient and sincere, we will also be answered, because God will never allow us to be put to shame. We just obey, using faith and trust.

Who of here uses the faith say amen!

FUN CHAT

Educator, start by choosing two children now (Note: they cannot have the same name). Ask them to walk in the opposite direction. Educator, you will have to walk behind one of the children, but calling the name of the other. Continue until someone notices that you are calling the wrong name. Ask the chosen children to sit and tell the class: Children as I was following (say the name of the kid you were following) and calling (say the name of who you were calling) and the prophets Baal were calling a god who wasn’t God. In this challenge, Elijah proved that there is only one God, and our true God, our true and powerful God who answers our prayers and bless us.
Kids, we must be determined like Elijah, who was trying to please God, didn’t get contaminated with the wrong things, as did the other prophets of Baal and the people who were undecided about who they wanted to follow. Remember: "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears..." (Psalm 34.17). So if we want to be answered we must be sincere and live in a way that pleases Him.

Make a prayer asking God to teach everyone to walk according to His will, then ask the kids to sit down. Ask some questions such as: 1. What do you think about the prophet Elijah’s attitude? 2. In your opinion, how do you think God must have felt when he saw the people of Israel full of doubts, wanting to follow other gods? 3. Do you think it's important to say no to the wrong things in order to please God?

Educator, allow the kids to express themselves and give them the opportunity to speak. But check the schedule so that does not fall behind other stages of the class.

ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY
Remembering. We learned that when we ___________, God attend us.

FRIDAY
Game. Educator, take two different colored bags to the class. If you prefer, you can take two balloons (also of different colors). You also need a radio with a CD/ children's music (gospel). Arrange the class in a circle and give balloons to two children who are seated far
Explain to the class that the one holding the colored ball (choose one of the balloons) when the music stops playing, must exit the game, and whoever is holding the other balloon must answer a question related to the story. Start the game.

INTRODUCTION
Start asking the class: Who here, when you called someone, you had no answer, because the person didn’t listen to you, or because he/she refused to answer? (Wait for their participation). How did you feel then? (Wait for their participation). Today we will learn about some prophets who cried out a lot. Let’s find out if they were answered? Then listen carefully.

THE ANSWERED PRAYER
Elijah was a prophet of God. Do you know what a prophet is? Prophet is the one who proclaims the message of God, teaching the people the ways of God. Elijah was a man who feared God, and many miracles happen through him. He prayed for the rain and so it happened, he blessed a widow who was going through many problems.

But some day, something great happened, Elijah challenged eight hundred and fifty prophets who worshiped other gods. Children, many of the people of Israel were following these prophets, doing wrong things. They could not decide whom they wanted to serve and it ended up displeasing to the true God.
Elijah commanded the King together with the prophets who followed other gods, and all the people of Israel to meet at Mount Caramel. Thus did the king, and in the day and at the appointed time all went to Mt. Elijah was so shocked to see the Israelis doing the wrong things that he said: "How long will you be left with doubts about what to do? If the Lord is God, adore Him: but if Baal is God, Baal worship. “And he made a challenge with the prophets of Baal saying, "raise an altar to your gods and offer a sacrifice to them, cry out their names, and I'll do the same with my God. The one who answers by fire on the sacrifice, this is the true God. "

What a hard challenge, right? Elijah had great faith and certainty that God would respond, as were eight hundred prophets against him. Do you know what happened? (Wait for their participation). The prophets of Baal were left crying out from morning until noon, shouted, but nothing happened. Then it was Elijah’s time to make his prayer and so he said: "O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel! Show now that you are God in Israel, and that I am Thy servant, and I did all this according to Your order. Answer me, Lord, that this people may know that You, Lord, is God and you are bringing this town back for You. “In the Bible it says: "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; delivers them from all their troubles." (Psalm 34.17), and that's what happened. God heard and responded to Elijah with fire falling from the sky upon the altar of sacrifice. After that all the people of Israel knelt down, put their faces on the ground and shouted: "Oh Lord God! Only the Lord is God! And then recognized that Elijah was a man of God and followed the true God.
God answered Elijah because he was a sincere person, a true man of God. Ehen we are honest, sincere, God will always answer us and He will never allow us to be ashamed. Just ask in faith and God will make the miracle that we need. Do you all understand?

Remember: "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears..." (Psalm 34.17). So if we want to be answered we must be sincere and live in a way that pleases Him.

Make a prayer asking God to teach everyone to walk according to His will, then ask the kids to sit down. Ask some questions such as: 1. What do you think about the prophet Elijah’s attitude? 2. In your opinion, how do you think God must have felt when he saw the people of Israel full of doubts, wanting to follow other gods? 3. Do you think it's important to say no to the wrong things in order to please God?
