INTRODUCTION
Educator, search for images of ancient castles on the internet. Present the images to the children and say: In the past the kings built castles and had large armies to defend themselves against enemies. Today we will learn that God is the only one who can protect us from all evil. Are we going to pay attention today?
GOD PROTECTOR
KIDS ... WHO ENJOYS when mummy and daddy are around, you have family time, play and laugh together, with plenty of hugs and kisses from those who love you? (Wait for their participation.) Your parent or the person who cares for you, protects you and teaches you with all their love .. Isn’t that right? However, they cannot be near you all the time... isn’t it?
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is close to us in every minute. He protects us even when we are sleeping. He is watching over us (put your hands together next to the face and make an expression of sleeping). Kids, but only those who have the Lord Jesus in their hearts and does His will are protected. He keeps in security those who love Him. In the Bible there is the story of Daniel, a bright young man who was very obedient to God. Because he was so special, he was chosen to serve a king, but some evil men were jealous of Daniel and they would make anything to punish him. But God protected Daniel and didn’t allow him to suffer any harm.
CONCLUSION
Little friends, God protected Daniel and protects those who are obedient to Him and good, God is ready to protect us from all dangers. Amen!

Secret friend. Educator, prepare a few little bags with chewy candy or other treats. You must have enough bags for the whole class. Write the name of each child in on sticker and stick it to a bag. Distribute the bag among the children, but notice that the child MUST NOT take the bag with their names on it.Start by saying this: we have heard that the bad guys did everything to harm Daniel, but we love our friends... isn’t it? And so now, you have to give this gift for them... Got it? So, now, you will give the bag you received to your friend... (read the name written on the bag). Don't forget to give him or her a hug! The child that last received the bag will be the next to deliver the bag. At the end conclude by saying: See, Jesus is pleased when we are kind to our friends and when we do good.
Whenever you are in trouble, talk to God. He is your friend! |

FRIENDS, WHEN something happens that leaves you scared or sad, don’t you want to be close to your father and your mother, well protected, right? At this point, what you do? (Wait for their participation). Daddy and Mommy always want to protect and guide their children. But, even if they wanted to, they cannot be the whole time with you. Isn't it true?
The Bible teaches us that only God can be with us at all times and with God, we are always safe. He protects us even when we sleep, "God is our refuge and strength ..." (Psalm 46.1)
Children, only those who fear and practice the Word of God will be protected; the Lord Jesus will save those who are faithful. The Bible speaks of servants of God who were examples of fidelity and demonstrates how they were protected in danger. Among them there was Daniel. Let’s learn more about the deliverance he received from God? Let’s pay attention.
Daniel was a young man faithful to God. Because of his intelligence, he was one of those chosen to serve the king Darius. Daniel stood out among all princes, so the king intended to give him authority over the entire kingdom. Children, the envy was so among the princes and governors who sought a way to harm Daniel, but he was faithful, and they didn’t find anything against him. Until one day they convinced the king to establish the following law: "For thirty days, no one is allowed to pray to any god or any man, except for the King Darius. However disobey this will be thrown in the lions den." This was the only reason to harm Daniel who was a faithful servant, who used to pray to God 3 times a day.
The envious princes and governors found Daniel praying and saw him sentenced. The king was very sad, but he couldn't go back to his word: it was the law. Daniel was thrown into the lions den. Very sad, the King couldn’t sleep thinking about Daniel and how God would get rid of the lions.
Bright and early, Darius the king went to the cave and found Daniel alive, he said: "O my God sent his angel, and shut the lion's mouths ..." (Daniel 6.22). King Darius was amazed with the deliverance of God and commanded to write a new edict, announcing that in his entire kingdom, people should worship only the God of Daniel, because he saves and operates signs wonders in heaven and earth.
CONCLUSION
Just as God protected Daniel in the past, He will protect those who believe, fear and seek Him wholeheartedly. Little friends, God is always ready to protect us from the dangers of all evil. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. " (Psalm 46.1).
