Class: 2-3 year olds

BIBLE VERSE
Psalms 122.1

LESSON’S OBJECTIVE
Teach the children that we are happy when we go to the church.

VERSE TO MEMORISE
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. (Psalms 122.1)

INTRODUCTION
Take to the classroom illustrations of amusement parks, children's parties, Water Parks, the beach and illustrations of UCKG buildings. Glue all the pictures on a cardboard and start saying: There are many places aren’t there? Grandma's house, the house of a friend ... And there are places like this here (show the pictures and read the names of the respective places). Point to illustrations of the UCKG and conclude by saying: Children, there is a special place where every time we go there we should go with joy...Do you know which one? I'll tell you.

ISAAC LIKED riding his bike to his grandparents, uncles and friends. Who here likes to visit their family? Great! It's great to visit people we love. Isaac loved visiting his grandmother and she prepared delicious snacks for him, Yummy, Yummy!
Every Sunday morning, Isaac woke up (make gestures as if you where waking up), had a shower, brushed his teeth, combed his hair and got dressed (for every action makes a gesture and ask children to copy you). And then he was ready to go to a special place ... Do you know what place it was? (Wait for their participation.) It was the House of God. Every Sunday morning, Issac went to the church and he loved to stay in the CBC. There, Isaac praised (raise your hands, waving them from one side to the other), prayed (make the gesture) and learned the things of God.

CONCLUSION
God is our Father in heaven and He feels very happy when His children go, happily to the church. God rejoices every time you come to the CBC. Isaac became very happy and cheerful when he went to the CBC and because of that he was a very blessed child. Who here wants to be blessed? (Wait for their participation) Very good! Come with joy to the house of God and He will bless you then!

ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY
Game. Educator, read as following: In today's story we learn that Isaac was a happy child when he went to the church. (smile and ask for them to copy). Now let's play a game where we will copy a friend. Let’s get started! Educator, tell children to smile at their friends in class. Continuing the game; When someone is hungry, what happens? ... rub your hand over your belly as if you were hungry and ask for them to copy you. When a person is asleep, the mouth what do they do? Rub your hands over your eyes and ask the children to copy you. When someone is thinking about someone…what’s their expression? Put your hand under your chin and look like you are thinking. Ask them to copy you). Continue the game using other examples until they loose interest.
Modeling. Spread dough for the children and ask them to do the Isaac of the story. Educator, interact and create with them. Then expose the arts for all to see.
