Friends, there are people who do things just to receive compliments after, did you know that? They want to be recognized by everyone, do you know why? Because it satisfies their soul. Human soul likes this, however we must be very careful, because this kind of thing displeases God.
Everything that we gain in this world, it will pass. A new toy, new clothes, compliments, etc...However what comes from God, it's eternal! There is nothing better than reciving compliments from God! It happened with Jesus when He got baptized on the waters, that day, Him and everyone who was present heard a voice coming from Heaven saying: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3.17
You know what children, everyone who receives the Holy Spirit and live a life that pleases God, they listen to this voice, deep in their heart, and everyone that is around them, they recognized them as Children of God, because they are different, they respect everyone and love everyone in the same way.
In another occasion, Jesus was upset because His death was coming, but do you know what He did? He didn't pray asking God to deliver Him from that suffering, because He knew that He came to this world to pass through it. (John 12- 27.28) He didn't listen to His soul! He said: "Father, glorify Your name." John 12.28, in other words, He said to God "Father, I sacrifice my soul desire, so that Your Will may be done." God was so happy with Jesus atittude, that straight after He said "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again." John 12.28
Did you see children? The presence of the Holy Spirit in Jesus life, gave Him strength to sacrifice His desires and do the Will of God. The same will happen in the life of everyone who seek the Holy Spirit!
