AGE 2-3
SUNDAY-Coloring. Juju learned that she should thank God. Paint pretty well Juju and her family praying. Educator, give thick crayon to the kids to paint.
MONDAY-Setting up a poster. You will need a cardboard, several flyers and inserts of supermarket, toy store and clothes store. Take magazines too. Distribute it to the class and ask them to choose pictures of toys, clothes and food they like (help the kids in need). Educator, when they choose the pictures, you cut out and give to the kids. Write on the cardboard “Thanking God” as a title. Say: We learned today that we should always thank our God and Father who is in heaven. Now, let’s make a beautiful poster with the pictures of what God has been giving and will give us more and more? Every time we receive something from Him, what should we say? (Wait their participation). Thank you, that’s right! We should thank God for everything. Now let’s stick the pictures? Educator, interact with the kids, congratulate every time they get a picture, apply glue and ask them to stick on the cardboard helping the kids in need. In the end, show the poster and congratulate them all.

Write the sentence: “THANK YOU, JESUS” on the board or paper before the kids arrive. Educator, distribute office paper and magazines for the kids. Ask them to cut the letters that form the sentence “THANK YOU, JESUS”. They will stick the letters on the paper making the sentence. The kids can decorate it the way they like: drawing, gluing balls of crepe paper, pencil shavings, etc. At the end, ask them to put their names on the paper and say: Kids, everything we have comes from our God, that’s why we should thank Him every day, amen? Ask the kids to show their parents (responsible) the activity they did and explain them the importance of being grateful to God.

Educator, you should get two pictures of each or copies of them. Stick them separated, on office paper (enough to all the kids of your class). Choose a kid and distribute the pairs of the pictures to the others (kids who have similar pictures should be away from each other). Tell the chosen kid to say the name of two participants that should show their papers. If the pictures are the same of the chosen kid it will receive the two papers and will change places with the other kid; the two participants who gave the paper should sit down. In case of the pictures be different, the chosen kid should get off the game and you will chose another kid to keep the game. Continue the activity until all pairs are found.
