Lessons for the 30th of October to 05th of October

Class: 4-7 year olds

BIBLE REFERENCE
Psalms 33.12

LESSON’S OBJECTIVE
To teach the children that only when we love and obey God, can we be truly happy.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD…    Psalms 33.12)

INTRODUCTION
Start by saying the following: "Children, do you know what a nation is? (Wait for their participation.) A Nation (country) is a group of people living in the same place, speaking the same language, having the same habits and obeying the same laws. Each nation has leaders and beliefs. In some countries people use faith in the wrong way and end up contradicting the Word of God. Today we will learn about what makes people from one country to truly be happy.

STORY
KEVIN loved listening to this grandfather’s stories about faraway countries. He taught him about how some live etc. One day they were talking about Israel's wars. Kevin had learned that the Israeli nation was God's chosen and that He wanted to make them a strong nation, blessed, wealthy and peaceful. But unfortunately the people there did not believe that Jesus came into the world to be the Savior of mankind, because of this there are a lot of wars in Israel. At the end of the story, the boy asked:
Grandpa ... What should people do to be happy?
“Kevin, people should love God first, because in His Word is written," Blessed is the nation whose God is the lord ". The country where people seek God will always be blessed, and all will live happily”, said his grandfather.
The boy then realized that people who seek God have peace within themselves, and live in peace with those around them. Just as it happened in King Solomon’s kingdom. He asked the divine wisdom so he could take care for his people. Kevin learned that he should be faithful to Jesus, to serve Him with joy and talk about Him to his friends too.

CONCLUSION
Children, when we have Jesus in our hearts we are happy. The real joy comes from God and the His world. The only truly happy people are those who have God as their Lord. Who here loves God say amen!

FUN CHAT
Educator, search on the web sites or magazine, pictures of various flags, (small) and print a sufficient amount for the whole class. Cut them and put blue tack on the back of each flag. Also bring to the classroom two polyethylene balls (200mm) and a CD player with children's gospel music.
In one of the balls, make a happy face and write on it: People with God. On the other make a sad face and write: People without God. Prepare everything before the class begins and make sure all is ready!
Start by giving out the flags and say: Do you know what you are holding? (Wait for their participation). These are flags from some countries, and now we are going to play with them. Can you see these balls? They represent people with God and people without God. (Show the writing and get two children to hold one ball each). While the music plays you will hold the balls and you will pass it on to the next person close to you and whoever is holding the ball when the music stops, is eliminated. Got it?
Educator, play the CD and start the activity. When all the flags are glued on the balls; slowly remove the pictures and say: Are you seeing the picture of this ball? (Show the sad face). Can you see the flags on the ball? Well, these represent People without God (read what is written), that is, they are sad, because they live in the wrong way, far away from God and because of that they are full of problems and unhappy. But when the people of these countries (show flags on the ball) seek God (Read what is written behind the ball), then people live (Show the face of the part of below) happily, because they have God as their Lord. Therefore, children, we must have God as our Lord. Who here loves God say amen!

BIBLICAL REFERENCE
Proverbs 12.10

LESSON’S OBJECTIVE
Teach the kids that we have to take care of the animals.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
A righteous man regards the life of his animal... (Proverbs 3.6)

INTRODUCTION
Take to the classroom illustrations of ants and an elephant (to be used in the conclusion). Educator, search the Internet for pictures of animals and pictures of animals playing with their owners. Start by saying: You see these animals? (Show the illustrations). See how the animals play with their owners. Did you know that God created the animals and that we should take care of them? Today we are going to hear the story of a boy who really loved animals.

STORY
JOHNNY Loved taking care of animals. Who here has a pet? Raise your hand. It is fun to have one isn’t it? Johnny knew that. He had a little fish also and took care of it really well. He walked his dog and played with his cat too. Johnny lived close to a boy that used to be mistreat his own dog... (show a sad face).
One day, the boy’s dog escaped and came to Johnny’s door. He took the animal inside his home and took care of him. The other boy was searching for his lost dog. He looked everywhere until he saw Johnny walking his dog (put your hand on your forehead and make gestures as if you were looking for something far away). Then he said: This animal is mine! (Make an angry face) Do you know what Johnny said? Stop mistreating your dog! Did you know that the Lord Jesus is sad with those who do evil things to animals?

CONCLUSION
Little friends, God created all living things and He loves every animal, from small, like ants (show the picture) to the big ones like an elephant (show the picture). Good people take care for their animals, but the evil ones mistreat their animals. And we cannot be like that ... Do you all understand?

ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY
Telling the story. Educator, ask the children to sit in a circle and tell them: Today we learned that we must be kind to animals. Who here has a pet? Raise your hand; I'll pick some of you to talk about your pets. Educator, ask the name, what kind of animal it is, what it likes to eat etc. The children will want to talk and tell stories, let them express themselves and give the opportunity for everyone to speak. At the end tell them that Jesus is pleased when they take care of their animals.

WEDNESDAY
Imitating the animals. Take to the classroom pictures of
animals: dog, cat, horse, frog, kangaroo, bird, chicken,
monkey etc (you can use the
same as in the introduction). Place the illustrations in the

LESSON’S OBJECTIVE
Teach the kids that we have to take care of the animals.

VERSE TO MEMORIZE
A righteous man regards the life of his animal... (Proverbs 3.6)

INTRODUCTION
Educator, search on the Internet images of animals and welfare institutions, people with their animals and animals receiving veterinary care. Start now by asking: What is the similarity between these animals? (Wait for their participation.) All these animals are receiving care and being treated well. Children, we will learn in today's story about the importance of taking good care of our pets.

STORY
IN A cute little village, lived a boy named Johnny. The child grew up surrounded by many animals, and from a young age he learned how to treat them well. He fed the animals at the right time, played with them and looked after them with great joy. It so happened that Johnny's parents bought a house in the city and decided to move. Johnny could not have many animals in the new house, so he kept a kitten.
Johnny went to school; he met many children and became friends with Paul, a funny boy who loved to make people laugh. At school, Paul seemed to be a good person, but at home, he did not take good care of his dog, as he had no patience.
Johnny felt very sad because Paul was mistreating his dog and so asked Paul if he could look after his dog. Johnny went on to take care of the dog with affection and attention. Time passed and the animal was growing strong and very healthy. When he saw that his dog was been well treated, Paul wanted to understand why his friend gave so much value to animals. Paul thought that animals were not important and therefore could abuse them and mistreat them. Then Johnny said:
Friend, God teaches us in His word that we should take good care of our animals. We must be kind to all creatures of God because He is sad when we are evil.
While Johnny spoke, Paul thought and said: I do not want God to think I'm evil and be sad with me. Then you must change your attitude, said Johnny. - Yes, from now on I will not be evil to animals but will start treating them with love.

CONCLUSION
There are many people who mistreat animals and leave them on the streets leaving them unprotected. We cannot be like that. We must love and take care of the animals, because this displeases God. So take care of your pet with joy, just as Johnny in.

FUN CHAT
You will need brown tape. Start by choosing the kids that are with a white blouse or a similar tone. Ask the educator assistant you to take them to the back of the class where others cannot see them. The educator assistant should place pieces of tape on the blouse of the children selected and then take them to the front of the class. Educator, ask the class: Look closely at these children. (Point to them). Is there something different about them? Look at their clothes. What do you think? (They will probably notice the tape) Conclude: The difference is that in their clothes there is a bit of tape, Children as this bit of tape caught the attention; God also sees when we're doing the right things and the wrong things. Even the little things, God sees, so the children that have a habit of abusing and mistreating animals end up losing the blessings of God. Who here wants to please God in everything? Then we will pray for Him to forgive us of our bad actions and bless us. Educator, ask the following questions:

1. Do you have a pet? Do you take good care of it? 2. What is your opinion about Paul's behavior? 3. In your opinion, why was Johnny so kind to animals? 4. Have you seen someone mistreating an animal? 5. Have you mistreated an animal? Have you repented? Educator, allow the kids to express themselves and give the opportunity for those who want to talk.

STORY

LEO LIVED in a big countryside house full of animals. Since childhood, he helped his father care for the animals. Leo played, petted and fed the little animals with care. He knew how to care for them and all looked strong and healthy.
One day, Leo's family moved to a house in the city. There, the child could not have many animals but a cat only. Leo could not understand why the city had so many abandoned and injured animals. His desire was to take the animals home, but there was not enough space for that.
He made many friends at his new school, became friends with Paul, a very funny child, but he had a flaw: he did not like animals. He did many bad things to his dog, and always did something against the animals that he happened to find on the streets near his home.
Until one day, Leo was very sad with the way his friend was treating his dog and then decided to ask Paul to give him his pet so he could care for it, and the boy gave it to him.
Leo, along with his father, looked after the dog caringly. After a few days the animal was healthy and strong. When Paul saw his dog so well looked after, he asked: Leo ... What makes you love animals so much? My pet looks so different now! "What happened? And Leo said, smiling:
I'm just treating this animal with love. My father and me gave him food, played and walk with him, did everything to treat it well, just like the Word of God teaches us. Does the Word of God talk about animals? Asked Paul "Yes, God in the Bible, we learn that good people take good care of their animals, but people      that   have a      bad  heart           are     evil      with     their    pets. And Paul said: I do not want God to be sad with me. Starting today I will no longer be evil with any animal and I will treat them very well, said Paul repented of his bad attitude.

CONCLUSION
Children, God created the world through His Word. He gave life to all living things. God did not forget the animals and placed man (humans) to take care of them. So we should treat animals with kindness and respect, and hate violence against animals as this is displeasing to God.

Write on strips of paper the names of animals (cat, dog, rabbit, fish, etc.), then place the papers inside each balloon. Divide the class into groups of four components and each group will choose a balloon. Members must pop the balloons; write on a paper some necessary care of the animal, the ones that were inside the balloon and explain what kind of care does it need.
