Verse to Memorise
"You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble;" (Psalm 32.7)

Start by saying: In today's story we will learn about three friends that, to do the will of God, they had to displease the king. Let’s listen what happened?

Protected friends

There were three men, sons of Israel, who were called to go to the Babylon. They were called Shadrach Meshach and Abednego, what strange names, isn’t it? These three young men were good friends.
Who here has a friend? (Wait for their participation) The three friends loved God and did everything to obey Him.
They worked in the palace of a very important king. But one day the king decided that the people of his kingdom should pray for a false god, and who prayed to the true God would be punished. What do you think the three friends did?  (Let them answer) Were they now going to pray to the false god and grieve God? (Wait for their participation).
No, not at all! They didn’t want to do what the king commanded, and the king ordered to punish them in a very bad place. But the true God, who is our Father, took care of those three and didn’t allow any evil thing to happen to them, and then they were freed.
When the king saw that nothing had happened to them, he realized that the living God was with those friends and decided that everyone should also only pray to their true God.
How wonderful! The three friends believed in God until the end and were protected by Him. We must also trust Him; he is our Father a friend that takes care of us.
Whoever loves God very much say amen!

Creating with clay. Using modeling clay or homemade dough (recipe below),Get three children to play the three friends of the story. Do not worry about perfection; leave them free to create. Interacted with the children and create together with them.
Recipe for modeling dough: Mix 4 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, 1 1⁄2 of water and a tablespoon of cooking oil. This does not require cooking and the dough may be prepared by the children themselves. To acquire different colors, just add cake coloring to it. You can store leftovers in plastic bags in the refrigerator for no longer than two weeks. (Bring the dough ready, or get all the ingredients do not forget).

Game - Embracing the friends. For this game, you need a teddy bear. Sit on the floor with children in a semicircle. You must stay seated in front of them. Start by saying: Today's story was about three friends who were always together and did the will of God. Now let's play to be kind with our friend?
Educator, hug the teddy bear and say loving words as I like you a lot, I like to hug you, etc… Ask the kids to say the same for the friend next to them.Educator, hug and kiss a child next to you, and ask them to do the same with the child next to them.

Painting! Using crayons, color Shadrach Meshach and Abednego of today’s story.
