Day 4 of Daniel Fasting

"Then Paul said, John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied." Acts 19:2-6

Do you know that there is a difference between being born of the Holy Spirit and being baptised with the Holy Spirit? There is!
In this Fasting, we want those who have not being born of the Spirit of God yet, to be it! And those who have, to be baptised with the Spirit of God!

For us to be born of the Spirit, we have to repent from doing everything that displeases God, such as lying, disobedience, being rude, swearing, etc, and when we truly repent from doing this, we ask God forgiveness and we don't do it again! So, we become to have the Character of Jesus, as we said yesterday, this means, we are born of the Spirit. However, this is not yet the baptism with the Holy Spirit friends...
After doing this, we have to cry out to God to give us His Spirit, because we want to have Him in us! We want to be used by Him greatly, when Jesus sees the great desire of receiving Him in us, He send His Spirit into our lives! Then yes, we are baptised with the Spirit of God...and His great fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, start to happen in our lives!
Maybe you ask...But Biblical Educator, how long does it take to both things to happen???
It can happen in the same moment!!! All depends on the sincerity of your heart friends!
