APRON OF STORIES: The humble request of Solomon

How about we make story time special?

There's a suggestion that the kids will love and for sure will call their attention: The APRON OF STORIES!!!

First we'll start doing the character: SOLOMON, that is going to be a puppet...Woohoo!!!

For this one we used a piece of fabric and you can see on the sides seamed with white thread, or if you prefer you can use hot glue...

Note that on the top part there's a space not seamed, that is where you are going to put your finger and secure the head of the puppet.

The head we are going to cut twice in foam sheet, then you glue one to the other, but don't forget to leave a space inside to put the finger...

Now we are going to do the expressions... the story tell us that Solomon was sleeping when God spoke to him, so in one side we will do his happy face and on the other side sleeping...

And the puppet is ready...now is just missing the apron...
You can use a plain apron or if you have fabric you can do yours...

We placed some mountains on the top, because he went to a high place call Gibeon, like the story tell we did some "footprints" to show the path that he traveled...

You can make a sign with the name Gibeon on it, that was the place where God determined for Solomon's sacrifice, and do a heart with Wisdom write on it, that was what God asked...

In the pocket of the apron you can store the puppet...

I hope you like this idea and put it in to practice... remember God always enables the one that He chooses! Use your faith and let's start.

This resource is to be made by every CBC but we challenge Bullring to show us yours, you have till Sunday the  9th to share with us, it will be posted here on the blog so take pictures or make a video showing how you did it. We want to see your talent!
