CBC Lesson from 11th to 17th of November

BIBLICAL REFERENCE
Proverbs 1.7; John 12.-11
OBJECTIVE OF THE LESSON
Teach children that when we respect God we receive His wisdom.
VERSE TO MEMORIZE
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1.7)"
INTRODUCTION
Do you know any kid that considered very intelligent, but always disrespects their parents? (Wait for their participation), Of course not, right? If he were wise and intelligent he wouldn’t act like that. Today we are going to learn that we are only wise if we first have the truth of God. Listen carefully to the story.
WISDOM STARTS WITH RESPECT
JUDAS ISCARIOT was Jesus disciple who thought only of himself. He had no fear, that is, didn’t respect God and, therefore, no matter whether he was acting correctly or not. Judas was responsible for taking care of the bag where people placed their donations, bids, Jesus knew people’s thoughts and knew that Judas was not sincere and did wrong things.
One day, a woman who followed Jesus took a glass full of perfume and washed the feet of Jesus with it and dried them with her hair. Seeing what she was doing Judas complained, believing that she was wasting perfume. So, he said: This perfume worth a lot. Why don’t you sell it and the money you’ll give it to the poor?
Did you know kids, Judas acted this way so the women put the money in the bag of donations so he would take it later for him. What an ugly thing, right? Those attitudes showed that he had no connection with the things of God. Judas was always with Jesus, heard the Word of God, he saw many miracles and teach
people, but didn’t engage in anything that he said because he wasn’t wise and
didn’t took the opportunity to be a real man of God. Do you know what the result of his bad attitudes was? Each day he did worse till the point of betraying Jesus. Yes, he accepted 30 pieces of silver coins to show the soldiers where Jesus was and then the soldiers seized and crucified Jesus. After that, Judas was with pangs of conscience and ended up gibbet himself. How sad! If he had regretted none of this had happened.
CONCLUSION
Many children listen to the educators teaching the Word of God in the CBC, but
continue doing the things that displease Him. Buddies, if we are wise and prudent, we must first respect. Judas was not so wise and displeased God. So, no rebellion, swearing, disobedience, lies, and no practice of bad things that displeases Him ... Amen?

FUN CHAT
For this time you will need three cardboard, craft paper tape, a marker or
pen. Type:
• Home
• Respect and fear
• Wisdom
In each cardboard should be written one of these words. You need to fix the
cardboard with the tape on the floor of the class in the following way:
First fix the ”home” written cardboard and from a distance of 80cm, fix the one that is written “respect an fear” and then the same distance and fix the one written “wisdom”. Educator, certify that the cardboard are well fixed.
Choose a child and ask him to stay above the first card (Home). Tell the children the following: Kids, let's say that (say the name of chosen kid) wants to get to wisdom, (point to the reference card), but he can only step on the cards and
cannot leave this way (read the next and the last card). He/she must first pass
through the respect and fear, and not directly to wisdom, isn’t it?
Well kids, so does the Divine wisdom, we are only wise if we have fear and respect towards God and the Word from Him ... Got it? Who in here wants to have God's wisdom? Then respect first ... Ok?
Educator, display the poster of the week and discuss with the class about the
child’s attitude in the poster. Allow children to express themselves but control the time so you don’t miss others activities of the class.
