Visuals about Prasing God

Dear Biblical Educators, as you know we have been telling the children about the importance of praising God, and we all agree that it's been amazing! They sing, dance, praise joyfully... And now, see below what we received from a Biblical Educator:

Praising God for everything that He created

And see how easy it is to do it, you do not need a lot of materials, just paper card, colouring pencils, glue and a marker:

Visual Resources and activities - Ugliness of Pride

Two- Faced Puppet

The children will make a two-faced puppet of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.

Follow directions below dear Biblical Educators:

1) Cut out the faces of the tax collector and the Pharisee

2) These are the material you will need:
·         1 craft stick
·         Crayons or markers
·         Glue stick
·         Scissors

Ta-ran !!! - The end result

The other side of the craft stick

Send us pictures of your puppets!!!

Activities:

Age 2-3 Yrs

* Biblical Educators Play - Using soft toys, or puppets, you can develop this story, making it interesting for the little ones to listen to.

Age 4-7 Yrs and 8-10 Yrs

* Biblical Educator, take to the class black eyeliner pencil, a small mirror, a face towel
(it must be wet at the moment of the demonstration). Scratch your face (without them to see it) with the eyeliner and let your fingers get dirty with it. They will for sure notice it, laugh, point at you and ask why are you like that. Explain that when we are proud, our heart is just like your face, and it will reflect in your attitudes, words, expression, and ask them if they would like to stay close to someone who is dirty? For sure they will say no! So, we have to clean our hearts, taking away all pride, and by acting in a humble way.

Writing down everything that showed pride in us - give 2 papers, it can even be cut in hearts shapes, in one children will write everything that they used to do that showed pride; in the other they have to write what from now on they will do differently.

Stay blessed!!!

Visual Resources - The Power of Prayer

Hello Dear Biblical Educators,

Check below visual resources and different activities for the lesson "The Power of Prayer".

A Prayer Request Box

And a verse on the top

Look how you can decorate it!!!

We can use this idea and decorate it in different ways.

Activities:

Age 2-3 Yrs

* Allow children to draw about prayer. Their drawing might be a boy or girl with their family - meaning, they are making a prayer request for their family.

Age 4-7 Yrs

* Think quick - Children need to make a circle, they need to have a soft ball that can be thrown between them. The child starting needs to throw the ball to other, and this one who is getting the ball, very quickly needs to say something that they want to pray for. Example "I pray for my friends" ; "I pray for all Biblical Educators" ; "I pray for my Teachers", etc. Everything needs to be very quick, they cannot stop to think.

* "I went to CBC to pray for..." - One child starts and says this sentence, adding something that she wants to pray for, e.g. "my family". The child after, needs to repeat "I want to CBC to pray for my family and my friends", next child needs to repeat all the sentence from the beginning and always adding something new. When a child forgets to say something that already passed, needs to leave the game.

Age 8-10 Yrs

* Play - Scenario: A boy called Steve was not so good at school, his grades were very low, he was bullied and he didn't like school. A little girl called Diane saw this, and invited him to come to the CBC. There, a Biblical Educator taught him about the power of prayer, so he prayed to God about how he was feeling... And then what happened? - Children need to do the characters and develop their imagination to play this story and finish this story.

And as allways... Don't forget to share your ideas with us!!!

21 Days of Daniel's Fasting Visuals

All CBC's are already in the Spirit of this Fasting!!! Croydon is ready to step into it...Check below the visuals resources done by the B.E. and how they prepared their CBC room for this Fasting!

Look at this Sanctuary!!!

And now with Light! Very beautiful!

Look at their Countdown Poster Card

This way, children and even parents will be able to keep track of what's happening throughout the 21 Days Fasting.

And now...Booklets!!!

How it's done

Final result of the inside of the booklet

Now, different ideas for the cover of the same above:

Something very important to share with you:

"Dear CBC,
We did the sanctuary, and what I decided to do with our biblical educators after or before the main services  is to gather all of the B.E inside the sanctuary to seek for us, also to determine when the children step their feet inside they may have a true encounter with God and say oh What A Day!!! Furthermore the idea of the sanctuary for the children is great because I believe it will make it more special for them.

CBC Croydon
"Nadia Da Silva"

Look what a great idea, not only children will be seeking the Spirit of God inside of the Sanctuary, but also B.E., to be revived and determine that the children will not leave that Sanctuary without Him!

This 21 Days Fasting will not only bless our children but also each one of us!

Thank you so much Croydon for sharing!!!

Teaching the kids to have a humble heart - Visuals Resources

Here you will practice visual resources for this week lesson!
Thank you so much Newcastle for sharing with us!
Humble Heart...
What happens when we have a humble heart!

Proud Heart...
What happens when we have a proud heart!

And now, a little surprise for each child! A little heart with a prayer saying "God help me to have a humble heart".. As it has a ribbon, they can put it in their book bags, Bibles, books, stick in the mirror, anywhere they want!
This way, everything their flesh wants to speak louder, they will remember..."God help me to have a humble heart!!!"

An example

You can use different colours ribbons!!!

Share with us your visuals resources CBC's!!!

Activities - Beauty that comes from happiness

The Beauty that comes from Happiness

“A Joyful heart brightens one’s face, but a troubled heart breaks the spirit.”         Proverbs 15.13

This lesson is very simple… for us to have this happiness; we need to “fill” ourselves with the Holy Spirit.

Now, you may see bellow some ideas for visual resources:

It’s amazing how we can play with those little dolls that are very easy to make…
It’s simple, but it catches the attention of our little ones!
As we tell them the story, we show the dolls!
And for sure, it will stay in their minds. ;-)
